Most driving enthusiasts would describe Acura as a car manufacturer that produces technologically advanced products with a great combo of both performance and luxury. The new Acura 2009 TSX offers their traditional eye for what the public wants and it’s sure to lure even more car buyers away from other entry level sedans due to its increased awareness of what mainstream car buyers are looking for in a vehicle!

This is a basic redo of the European Honda Accord; you might call the TSX the Euro Honda Accord with a fabulous facelift! It’s full of luxury content to fill the expectations of shoppers in the entry level sport luxury sedan segment. The theory of building the TSX off of the current European Honda Accord model isn’t new; it’s been successful in the past. The TSX’s introduction was met with almost instantaneous popularity; its sporty feel and adept handling made it very well liked amongst its competition.

The sporty look has been de-emphasized in Acura’s 2009 version of the popular TSX and focuses more on fulfilling the expectations of sleek luxury. The 2009 TSX boasts higher levels of comfort, luxury and refinement in a widely varied list of added features and options.

Accelerating from a standstill to 60 mph in the 2009 Acura TSX takes just over 7 seconds; the vehicle produces power across a broader rpm segment than its predecessor and comes in as one of the cleanest cars in its segment. The ultra low emission vehicle rating attracts nearly as many new interested enthusiasts as the high performance at the pump (21 mpg city/29 mpg highway).

The popular handling capabilities were even improved for 2009! The 2009 TSX includes independent double wishbones front and rear; maintaining its good handling balance (and that’s really saying something when you take into account the 60/40 front to rear weight distribution).

By adding more luxury and comfort content as well as size to the 2009 TSX, Acura has made it even more likeable for even more people. We’ll see if that results in an increase of TSX vehicles on the roads!
